Tree removal service on long Island

12/3/2014

As a Tree Service that handles Suffolk and Nassau County, we strive at customer satisfaction like no other. The tree service industry does not really have a great reputation in actually listening to the people that pay the bills. Everything is about relationship. Now some do go bad no matter what you try but there should always be an emphasis on the business to maintain great customer relations.

When some calls a tree expert, they are looking for a solutions for an issue even if they do not understand all the of complexity in a particular problem. They may not understand the type of cutting on the tree that is necessary for it to fall in a particular direction, that is what the tree care expert is for.

A long island tree removal service should strive to 'listen' and then use it's expertise to give a customer at least 2 solutions. A client does not want to feel that their tree company is not being completely honest and is hiding some secret formula!

Even if the tree removal cost for plan B is lower then plan A, that is OK. If you foster a good relationship then that will lead to future tree trimming or removal business from you service. That can come from the customer or from a referral.

1. Always have a smile. No one like a frown, Hey, that is best ice breaker around. Smiles are contagious. Even if your teeth are coffee stained smile. If you don't you will look absolutely creepy and you will be the tree service Jason Vorhees.

2. Always be professionally dressed as possible. This is a dirty job, I know, but a first impression is the one that always lasts. The job supervision should be as cleanly dressed and well groomed. This also applies to the workers and equipment. This has a subconscious affect on the customer and how he or she relates to your removal service.

3. Always be clear on you tree cost estimates and time tables. Never over promise to get an account. Always be realistic. Don't be lazy but telling you client that you are able to a tree trimming service at a certain price and by a certain date and you don't deliver, does not bode well for continued business.

Long Island is heavily forested therefore full of opportunities.  The tree company that actually listens and cares about their customer needs will be around for many years.
